For this lesson I will be taking each class out onto the school playground where we will be reviewing the playground rules and boundaries, so that every class will have the opportunity to hear and ask questions about the rules. Many of the rules and boundaries are the same but there are some new things in place so we wanted to ensure everyone is clear on these changes. Please feel free to review the rules below so you can help your students in understanding them.
As I was out of the school on the second week Rotation B will receiving this lesson on the week of 10/10 to 10/14.

September 5th through September 16th (All Grade Levels)
This week we will be reading the book Our Class is a Family by Shannon Olsen. We will also be discussing what it means for our class to be a family, and what we can do to help make our class a family.
For our class to be a family we need to:
Be respectful and kind to our classmates
Recognize and celebrate our differences.
Include everyone.
Communicate our problems so we can work through them.
When our class is a family that means:
Our class is a place where we feel safe and welcome.
We can be ourselves.
We work together to learn and overcome our problems.
